High School baseball rules

 

High School Baseball Leagues will follow PSA Kid Pitch Rules with the following Modifications:

1.     Fields will be 60’-6” pitching distance and 90’ base distance

2.     Game duration will be 1 hour and 45 minutes or 7 innings.

3.     All bats shall conform to National Federation of High School association (NFHS) bat standards including a length to weight ratio no greater than negative three (-3) ounces. These bats must be stamped with BBCOR .50 certified mark or made of wood and manufactured by a licensed USSSA manufacturer.

4.     Mercy rule shall be used to complete a regulation game when one team’s margin is greater than or equal to run differential as follows: 15 runs after 3 innings, 12 runs after 4 innings

5.     Continuous batting order and PSA Fair Play rules are to be followed per PSA Baseball Kid Pitch rules.

6.     A game will end in a tie if the inning in play when time has expired was completed.

7.     No pitching limits for High School Leagues.
