Q:     Where do I find PSA camp availability and pricing?

• All of the available sports camps are listed in your My SAM account under “Classes, Camps and Clinics

Q:    How do I register online?

• Go to www.psaplano.org and click “MySam login”

Q:     Who can sign up for camp?  Do I have to be a Plano resident?

•     FlexiPass  is for ages 5 through 14
•     We have sports camps for ages 3 through 17
•     Our customers DO NOT have to be Plano residents

Q:     Can I register over the phone or in person for camp?

•     Call our front desk directly, (972) 208-5437 or
•     Come by our PSA1 location at 6500 Preston Meadow Drive, Plano, 75024
•     Create your My SAM account at www.psaplano.org

Q:    How do I cancel or change a registration for a camp?

•     Only  our front desk can assist you  
•     Cancellations incur a $15 administration charge 2 weeks prior to the camp start date, otherwise there is no refund
•     Changes can be made prior to the start date if the camp is not full

Q:    How does FlexiPass work?

•     FlexiPass is a full day, indoor summer camp revolving around sports activities and different games.  
•     Standard camp hours are 9:00-4:00pm; extended hours are available from 7:30-5:30pm (for a addtional fee)
•     Families may purchase a 5, 10 or 20 day pass and add a Share a Pass for an additional family member or friend for only $20.
•      The pass can be used June 7th through August 20th; one day will be applied for each day they attend; there is no need to schedule the days ahead of time, its flexible!

Q:    What is the difference between the FlexiPass at the PSA StarCenter and the Sports Fun Camp at PSA2?

•     FlexiPass is only at the PSA StarCenter (PSA1) 6500 Preston Meadow; it is purchased by days and is useable any day throughout the summer for the number of days purchased
•      The Sports Fun Camp at PSA2, 601 Seabrook,  is for specified weeks during the summer, Monday through Friday from 9:00-4:00pm
•     Activities are similar for both camps

Q:    What are Fun Fridays & Winning Wednesdays?

•     Each Wednesday is a different tournament; soccer, basketball, floor hockey, football, soccer and more!
•     Fridays are filled with fun; the Plano fire truck, obstacle courses, a magician, the Heard Museum visits PSA and much more!

Q:    Do we hold checks?

•     No, beginning June 1st

Q:  Why is PSA requiring my child’s fingerprint?

• More stringent control of children attending camp is required under the State law.  We need a time stamp for when the campers arrive and leave.  We felt thumbprints would be the quickest method and the most reliable.

Q:  Will PSA keep a copy of my child’s fingerprint on file?

• No. This is NOT an actual thumbprint but rather a mathematical formula which will allow for unique identification of your child.

Q:  Why is it important to register our fingerprint early?

• We are trying to make the first day of camp as painless as possible.  That is why it is important to fill out all of your forms ahead of time and to come by before camp and register your child’s fingerprint. 

Q:  Can we still bring a friend to camp?

• Certainly.  We love friends.  Before they come to camp they must be in MySam and have filled out the Camper information.  All of this    can be done online.  We can get their thumb print the morning of camp.
