HOW TO SIGN UP A TEAM/OR FREE AGENT FOR THE ADULT LEAGUE:
1. Create a Dash account: Click Here
2. Log into your dash account and click on registration make sure to select "Adult Programs"
3. Follow the steps to register then invite your players to join your roster
TEAM BALANCES ARE DUE 48 HOURS AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSE DATE
Adult Basketball Seasons
- WINTER Season - DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY
- Registration open
- League Starts MAR 16TH
- Players are unable to register in divisions that are older than their age.
- Players are ONLY allowed to play on ONE team per age league no matter if it's A,B, or C division.
- Game schedule will be released MAR 6TH (teams will not be scheduled with balance)
- Games played on Sundays
- Games are only at PSA2 and PSA Murphy
- Game start times: 3pm-10pm
- 7 regular games season including (1) guarantee playoffs game (If your team has 3 or more forfeits you are not eligible for playoffs)
- Playoffs for SPRING season: All teams will make playoffs.
- Single elimination playoffs in each division.
- PSA can move teams up a division if team is winning by a large margin in current division
Tie breakers decided by head-to-head (based on 2 teams only), then point differential. If there is 3 or 4 way tie then it goes based on head to head with point differential between the teams that are tied.
- Game format: 20 minute halves running clock
- NO practices offered for adult league
- Teams need to provide own matching color jerseys
- Rosters are locked 2 weeks after the season starts (Email for date)
- All players that are playing need to be on the roster
- Maximum number on roster are 10 players
- Adult Basketball Rules (please read)
- Updated rule: Overtime is only (2) 3 minute then sudden death during regular season but playoffs will be overtime until a winner
- Updated rule: If a player serves a suspension for an ejection or removed from league (there is no refund)
- An ejection is a 2 game suspension (if player is not identified then team will serve the 2 game suspension and forfeit the next 2 games.)
- Updated rule: A player has to be the age or older to play in the age group of that league. Example: You can play in the 50 and over league when you are at least 49 years old and 2 months.
ALL TEAMS NEED TO BE FULLY PAID TO BE PUT ON THE GAME SCHEDULE
If you registered as a free agent, you will be placed on the best team available or a team will be created from the free agent list after registration closes. Contact is mostly via email.
You can play with a friend if you sign up as a free agent. Please just list the first and last name of your friend.
Fall Season: September to November
Winter Season: December to February
Spring Season: March to May
Summer Season: June to August
THERE ARE NO "COACHES" ALLOWED IN THE ADULT LEAGUE
Divisions: Womens, Men's 18-29 B & C, 30-39 A,B,C; 40-49 A,B,C; 50 & up, COED and Men's Competitive (leagues will be combined if not enough teams)
PSA RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE TEAMS UP A DIVISION IF THEY ARE BEATING TEAMS IN THE CURRENT LEAGUE
COED (MEN AND WOMEN) At least 2 women on the court at all times.
ALL TEAM FEES NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL TO BE PUT ON THE GAME SCHEDULE
Free Agents are placed on the best team available even if in another league.
A-advanced (highly skilled), B-intermediate (little skills), C-beginner (no skills)
