Who Can Become a PSA Game Official?
PSA welcomes teens (minimum age 14), adults, former athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts who want to help facilitate a positive and fair game-day experience. Strong communication skills, confidence, and a solid understanding of the sport’s rules are essential.
Steps to Become a Game Official
- Register as a game official by completing the PSA Game Official Registration Form online to begin your officiating journey.
- Attend a PSA training clinic and certification course to gain the knowledge and skills needed to officiate games with confidence.
- Depending on the sport, officials may be required to complete a certification exam or participate in on-field training to qualify.
- Once certified, you'll be assigned games based on your availability, allowing you to officiate and gain experience while staying involved in the sport.
